There go my NaNoWriMo plans

Inspired by a comment in a recent entry, I guess this is the part where I say that yeah, I'm sorry, I have to skip NaNoWriMo 2010.

It's the busy season coming up at work, and as the work will occupy me eight hours out of a solid nine on shift, I predict more days in which I stagger zombie-like for home and pass out from sheer tired.

I HAVE already written something like 30k words in the past two months, though, so all is not woe and despair.

And I WILL be haunting the NaNo forums to encourage my friends - sheesh, self, noveling vicariously much?

Well, you made a wise choice after all, since you need to have rest after work... ^^

Oh well, I guess I have to wait until next year to see your entry for the NaNoWriMo contest... But still, keep on trying, and who knows, you might win! :D

Actually, NaNoWriMo is primarily not a contest. It is a challenge that a writer voluntarily undertakes for whatever reason he or she might have.

And I have already participated in NaNo, in 2009, and I passed the 50k finish line but did not finish the story.
